Staying Motivated with Bree McCann

Like most people, beauty and model Bree McCann has had to make some big adjustments over the last year. We spoke to her about how she stays motivated in such an uneasy and unprecedented time and she has some great tips we want to share with you.

I really struggled at first as I used to travel a lot, worked on sets surrounded by people and never really had time to stop, let alone long periods of time at home working at a desk. I never had to be my own motivator before so when in lockdown I have to set some rules...

5 lockdown rules to stay motivated and keep the creativity flowing:

Try to move your body every morning...

If I don't do it in the morning, I know chances are slim I'll do it later and it makes me feel so much better once I do. If I can't go to Noosa Flow for a class, then I do The Pilates Class at home or I go for a long walk at the beach.

Keep yourself warm through the winter months and rug up appropriately. 

I know it sounds obvious but when I'm cold I loose all motivation so dressing warmly and getting out in the sun really helps!

I have lists for everything. Mostly they are in my notes section on my phone but without them I find I spend half the day jumping from one thing to another and not really accomplishing anything. 

4. Keep all non-work related chores and appointments to the end of the day.
